Roles

The Group Leader

As the group leader, you create a Group (a choir, orchestra, or band), and it "belongs" to you. You set up Pieces, Performances (assigning members to parts of a piece), plan Concerts and Rehearsals.

You can view the group's learning progress down to parts and individual members.

Members

As a group member, you see upcoming Rehearsals and Concerts, and their performances with the parts assigned to you, and your personal progress in each.

You regularly log your learning progress on parts that are assigned to you.

You can view the group's overall learning progress and readiness for upcoming concerts.

Note

It is possible to be a member in one or several groups and at the same time be the leader of another group. You can switch between Groups by selecting the Groups option in the top navigation bar.

Pieces

A Piece consists of a title and a number of parts (e. g. Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, or instruments). You can attach sheet music to a Piece which all group members will be able to access.

Performances

A Performance is where you choose a Piece, and assign group members with suitable vocal ranges or instruments to the parts they will be learning and performing. You can also allow members to assign themselves to their parts.

Folders

Performances can be "with folder" (sheet music) or "without folder" (by heart). Confidence for both are always logged with each entry, so that it's possible to change a Performance to either of the two at any time, based on the confidence of the group.

Concerts

A Concert has a date, time and location, and a set list of Performances in order. The date will be used to suggest rehearsal focus based on the confidence level of each performance and it's learning velocity.
